Prenatal, Postnatal & Youth Training

Prenatal and Postnatal Training

Our prenatal and postnatal programs cap at 8 women to ensure lots of one on one attention and is led by master trainer Melissa Levy. We currently have a prenatal class Saturday mornings at 8AM.

Prenatal Training

Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to give up your workouts! In fact now more then ever its time to get fit!

Working out while pregnant contributes to easier labor, healthier babies, and a more comfortable pregnancy. Our Rebel prenatal class will teach you specific core and breathing techniques to help prevent diastasis recti and keep you fit throughout your pregnancy. The Rebel prenatal program is also designed to educate our mamas so they can continue to workout in regular Rebel classes and understand the important modifications that may need to be made.

Melissa Levy leads these core focused, safe and effective classes that will have you feeling your best even into the final weeks of pregnancy.

*Please note: We recommend our prenatal programs to all mothers, but always consult with your doctor before beginning any exercise program.*

Postnatal Training

Build strength and stamina with this “just tough enough” plan. Feel your strength return and reconnect with your core in as few as two weeks. We will help you drop pounds safely, while meeting other new mothers in a group environment. Babies are welcome!

Nutrition During Pregnancy

The 9 months of pregnancy are the most consequential period of our lives.

Recent research suggests that a mother’s nutritional status during, AND before, pregnancy is one of the most powerful influences on a child’s lifelong health. In fact, some researchers now believe the 9 months of pregnancy are the most consequential period of our lives, permanently influencing the wiring of the brain and the function of organs like the heart, liver and pancreas. Research also shows that the conditions we encounter in utero shape everything from our susceptibility to disease, to our appetite and metabolism, to our intelligence and temperament.

Sarah Sandy, one of our in-house nutritionists, offers 1:1 consultations to teach you exactly what to eat for a healthy pregnancy, what supplements are important to include (and why quality matters!), what specifics to focus on during each trimester, and many other critical factors to ensure a healthy, happy pregnancy and a well nourished baby. We will talk about all things pregnancy, and give you a chance to ask the questions you’ve been trying to figure out on your own, so you feel empowered and educated about your pregnancy and your body.
