Meet Heather (and her adorable dog Lola)!
Heather grew up on an alpaca farm in Indiana. Seriously, that’s not a punchline. She spent summers and semesters living away from home at ballet intensives and studio company stints all over the US. When it came time to choose a college, she was determined to find a "work hard, play hard" school outside of her home state. She landed at the University of Wisconsin Madison and has been a die hard Badger fan ever since. After graduation, Heather and her husband Dylan moved to Scottsdale, AZ where they became fully immersed in the magic of Spring Training and driving with pot holders in 120+ degree heat. They fell in love with Denver during their very first visit to the city and made the move a year later, in 2012. Heather, Dylan, and their golden retriever Lola live right in the REBEL 'hood, Baker, in an extraordinarily old house that they love doing projects on. When not training, you can find Heather testing gluten free recipes, watching sports, on her yoga mat, brunching with friends, or on an outdoor adventure.
Don’t forget to check out Heather’s *NEW* BIKE+BARRE Express classes on Monday and Wednesday at 7am AND her CYCLE classes at 6am every other Tuesday! Oh, and don't forget her regularly scheduled BIKE+BARRE classes every Monday at 6:30PM :). Visit the Schedule to find out more and sign up!
1. What did you think you would be when you grew up?A ballerina, and dance studio owner. I was a ballerina before and during college, so I've checked that one off.
2. Top 3 items on your bucket list?-Learn to Surf. I learned to snowboard as an adult so surfing shouldn't be too hard … right?!?
