5 Questions with REBEL Client Colleen

5 Questions with REBEL Client Colleen | Blog by The REBEL Workout

Are you guys ready to meet another REBEL client? Today we’re introducing you to this fiery beauty, COLLEEN!

Break it down for us, Colleen - who are you, whaddya do, and how long have you been a REBEL?

Hey y'all! I'm Colleen, one of those annoying transplants who recently moved here from Austin (in all fairness, Austin is getting a lot of Denverites as well, so let's call it even). I have my Master's in Social Work, and I currently work at the State of Colorado's Medicaid agency on health care regulation and compliance. I joined TRW in October 2016 because it was the only bootcamp I tried in Denver that kicked my ass over and over!

1. What does a typical day in your life look like?

I get up too early, eat some variation of eggs for breakfast along with a bulletproof coffee. After work, I'm either at TRW, happy hour, or on the couch watching the new MST3K episodes with my husband. After dinner, I cuddle with our fat pug, Duncan. On the weekend, I usually intermittently fast while we go on a hike or to hot yoga, and then afterwards we drink lots of booze. Being gluten free means we usually end up at Holidaily out in Golden, which is an amazing 100% gluten free brewery! Sundays are reserved for brunch with friends or taking Duncan to Wash Park for a walk.

2. Go-to pre- and post-workout snack?

Since I usually hit the studio after work, my post-workout snack is usually dinner. My pre-workout snack is usually deli meat or peanut butter and some fruit. If I have some paleo treats around, even better. Sometimes I'll drink a cup of coffee before my workout if I need a boost.

3. What results have you seen since becoming a REBEL?

I've actually seen some noticeable booty gains for the first time ever!

4. Favorite way to sweat outside of TRW?

Either hot yoga or hiking.

5. What's the best about being a REBEL?

The community by far! I love being able to attend classes with the same group of people and joke around with the trainers (even when they don't play the playlist you made for them GINA). I also really appreciate the small class size and form correction that constantly happens, especially since I have lower back issues (also helped out by booty gains!).
