5 Questions with REBEL Client Elani

5 Questions with REBEL Client Elani | Blog by The REBEL Workout

Are you guys ready for another REBEL fav?

Today we are introducing you to Elani!

We went with a Halloween theme on this Client Spotlight, and Elani was down to participate … THAT’S how awesome she is :).

Break it down for us Elani - where are you from, what do you do, and how long have you been a REBEL?

I’m a life and business coach that has been working in the health and wellness field for the past 6 years. I partner with individuals and organizations to achieve optimal results in their careers, relationships, health and wellbeing. My own journey into the health industry began with the recovery and healing of an eating disorder and paralyzing anxiety. I recently moved back to Denver and was delighted to find a home in the REBEL neighborhood. Melissa was actually my first trainer at 20 years-old and helped me use fitness to stabilize my yo-yo dieting patterns. I am so excited to support her business and have a wonderful healthy community!

1. Would you rather trick or treat?

I love a good prank... so I would say trick. Most recently my boyfriend has discovered the college drinking game of getting Iced. You hide a Smirnoff Ice somewhere the person will find it and when they do, they have to get down on one knee and drink it. Not sure why he didn't learn about this until recently, since we graduated college 8 years ago but our house has become an ice zone ;). Good thing we work out!

2. Scariest thing that's ever happened to you?

Hmmmm.... I would say most recently my boyfriend and I were watching a movie in his old victorian home. The lights were out and we were very into the movie when all of a sudden his bedroom door swung open. We thought someone had opened it but when he got up to check no one was there. So he closed it and made sure it latched closed and we wrote it off as a breeze. A little while later it swung open again... So it must have been a ghost, right?? RIGHT?!

3. Favorite Halloween treat?

Twix, nerds, or licorice.

4. Best scary movie of all time?

Well I don't really like scary, scary movies so I would have to say Hocus Pocus. A little scare, a little fashion, and young Sarah Jessica Parker... it’s great!!

5. What’s the best part about being a REBEL?

Definitely Melissa and Ryan and the community they create. There are so many places to workout in Denver but what makes The REBEL Workout great is the feeling you get when you’re there. People are kind, fun and really invested in you!
